Open source will win,
is also my opinion. But in future
the open source
idea should not be reduced only on software - we should try to expand the
idea on hard technologies, engineering
and proceedures ( recently often secured by patents ). I developed a
procedure to produce normal crude oil (as we pump it out of all the bore
holes) based on the discovery of the natural oil genesis and put it under
a patent. In the meanwhile I think that is a mistake and I found the OSCO
project just in this days. OSCO should become a collaboration platform for
all interested technicians who want to work with this procedure. I will
give my technology open source like to the whole world community. Hoping
that this will be an example to many others to transfer their technologies
on an open source way. Giving this initial technology developments to a
huge community has several advantages, first, no technology will disappear
in a box, second, there is no other way to speed up further developments.
This way will have a huge impact on technical developments and industrial
progress. It will accelerate industrial grouth and includes on this way
also countries and groups which have yet not the financial back ground to
participate on patent pending technologies. The world needs to have an
acceleration especially in green technologies.

Mårten Mickos,I would appreciate if I can get your support in realizing
this idea. It shows a further way to transfer the open source ideas into
future.
